Dell Medical School

Austin Neuromuscular Center is a teaching site for The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School. Committed to the education of neuromuscular medicine and pathology, neurology and physical medicine and rehabilitation residents and students rotate at our clinic to expand their knowledge.

During their neuromuscular rotation the trainee will be exposed to:

  1. Autonomic testing
  2. EMG/NCS
  3. Muscle, nerve, and skin biopsies
  4. Neuromuscular consults
  5. Neuromuscular pathology
  6. Research and clinical trials

THE BUSINESS OF NEUROLOGY

Dr. Hussain helped to establish the Business of Neurology rotation in collaboration with the Texas Neurological Society. It is a ‘behind the scenes” look at what it means to run a practice, a five-to-ten-day rotation available for neurology residents in their third or fourth year of study.
